This KitchenAid Model G belonged to the mother of a customer.  She was the original owner and he wanted to restore and keep it.  This was KitchenAid's second home mixer with the planetary beater action.  It is the predecessor to the modern K-5ss KitchenAid mixer.  The main difference besides the overall size is that this one had three speeds which were changed by shifting gears unlike today's mixer that changes motor speed.

The mixer was in good mechanical condition but was in dire need of cosmetic help.  It was completely stripped of many coats of paint and a new finish applied.  I guess they really do mean it when they say,

 "KitchenAid, built to last."

Reconditioned to look & run like new.
